Born On This Day
(performed by vanillaandlavender)
Coming back from a one-day trip, I cannot help to think of them again.
The ones that were so dear, so close to me…
Gone, somewhere I’ll not know. Somewhere on this planet,
Where airplanes can’t land. My whole being misses them.
Tears in my eyes and memories is all I’ve got now; I know
They are not coming back, but I still wait by the door.
“The other day,
you walked by me with your friends
and I could feel the pity in your stare.
Don’t you do that.
Don’t you look at what I had for you and call it weak.
Not when you were the one afraid of it.”
